Many people aren't quite sure when the right time to call a colour consultant is... keep reading to find out.
When should you call me?
When you have too many choices.
Renovation and new-build projects are quite the undertaking, and by the time the paint colour needs to be chosen, you may experience “decision fatigue”.
You’ve chosen the tile, the flooring, the cabinets, and countertops. You’ve got the roofing materials, the stone siding, and the doors picked out.
Then you stand in front of a wall of colours at the paint store and just wish the right ones would leap into your hand!
Or perhaps you’ve got twelve different patches of colour on your wall, and you’re just not sure which one will give you the feeling you’re looking for.
The job of the paint colour at this stage is to tie together all of those important decisions that you’ve already made, and it can make it or break it.
This is where I come in.
With a fresh eye and years of experience, I have the confidence to help you make that final choice.
When you have no clear vision
You know that something needs to change. Maybe a number of things, and you have a budget, but no clue where to start.
I can provide help here too!
Often when a project is just getting off the ground, I will come to the site, get to know the parameters, and build a “Working Palette” for you. This will serve as a colour guideline for you to take shopping.
Each element in a renovation comes with an expert, and most can help you to find the tile/countertop/flooring/bedding that will work within the guidelines I have provided.
I would then recommend a follow up visit once you’ve got some options, and I will come back and work the details out to the letter with you.
